A long-time reporter for Gazeta Wyborcza, she has been a tutor and lecturer with the Polish School of Reportage at the Institute of Reportage. Graduating from the faculty of Romance Studies, she is the author of the reportage story Mokradełko, which made it to the finals of the Nike Literary Award 2013 and was produced by Mikołaj Grabowski and Teatr Nowy in Poznań. In 2016, she was nominated for the Nike award again for her book Ku Klux Klan. Tu mieszka miłość. The book was also nominated for the Beata Pawlak Award and the Ryszard Kapuściński Award. In 2018, she published the biographical reportage Kieslowski. Zbliżenie, which earned her the Newsweek’s Teresa Torańska Award and was shortlisted for the Juliusz literary award. Her latest book Czystka was published in 2021.
