Zano

A translator of British and American literature, with a fellowship from Queen’s University Belfast, University of Edinburgh and the University of Warsaw, a graduate from MISH and Translation Studies, she has translated into Polish books by Bernardine Evaristo, Lisa Taddeo, Colum McCann, C. Pam Zhang, Lydia Millet, Charles Yu, Lucy Caldwell, and Torrey Peters. A regular contributor to Przekrój and Herito magazines, she is interested in the history of Northern Ireland and the emergence of queer identity in language. She treats literary translation as a tool for social change and a platform to give voice to groups marginalised in the common language perception.
