Born in 1993 in Grodno, Belarus, Jana is a PhD student at the University of the Arts in Poznań. She defended her diploma work at the Studio of Spatial Activities at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In her artistic practice, she consciously uses mass media treating them as a form of artistic expression. She wants to create discussion and the confrontation of different worlds. She believes in the effectiveness of art. She uses feminatives on a daily basis. She is the winner of Paszporty Polityki 2021 Award in the category of visual arts, the Critics' Prize at the exhibition of the best diploma works at the Academy of Fine Arts, the Start Point Prize, the Grand Prix at Młode Wilki 2016 Festival, and many more.
